Just leave a comment beneath this post of your suggestion of what the new Mexican Walking Fish should be called.

I Would like to thank everyone for there kind words to the death of Aristotle. I have decided to keep the URL of the blog the same.

  1. Beautiful animal you got there. I've got myself a Cynops Orientalis, not an axolotl but it's still a newt.

  2. wow nice great fishy :) call it sparky :D

  3. Sweet, like the color of this new guy. As for names, I like the philosopher theme. Two recommendations 1) Plato, who taught Aristotle or 2) Callisthenes, Aristotle's protege.

  4. Good to hear you got another one. I'd suggest Ptolemy or Neptune.

  5. He looks like the worm on Sesame Street, so call him 'Slimy'.

  6. Name your axolotl Dog! Or Alan. Those are pretty crazy right?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Name your new fish Zlatica or Zlatan. Both are derived from the Slavic "Zlato", meaning "gold". :D

  26. First off, lemme say that this blog is great. I never even knew what an axolotl was, and while I'm still much more enamored with hogs, axolotls are pretty darn cool tool.
    As for a name, how bout Earl? I had an uncle Earl once upon a time, but now he's in the pen 25 to life for things I'd rather not discuss.

  27. call it 'little lotl' like little lotta from my early comic day's...remember? or are u too young )

  28. Ptolemy, if you're taking a theme of great thinkers.

    Also, oh my god, those things are so cute.
    Following this for sure :3

  29. I'd stick with the Greek theme. Maybe Aristophanes or Sophocles? Mix up the philosopher with a playwright? Or Greek God names could be cool too. Apollo would be very fitting for your gold Axolotl. Also is the god of light and reason, so Aristotle would be happy to have him as a successor ^_^

  49. I'm sorry to hear about aristotle's death : /

    It's not quite the same, but I own a handful of goldfish. I was new at the whole deal, so I didn't realize I was practicing poor feeding and cleaning etiquette. As a result, I lost 3 of them to ick >.> Due to my guilt over their deaths, the last 3 survivors have my attention like overprotected children under the eye of an anxiety ridden mother that checks on them 20 times a night lol

    Lastly, perhaps "Axel" as a name? c;
